Parking Made Easier: Rapid City Airport Upgrades Parking System

Rapid City Regional Airport has recently upgraded its parking system to a new technology, Flash Parking, allowing passengers more flexibility when it comes to paying for their parking. The upgrade aims to make the process easier and more convenient for customers.

Under the new system, passengers will need to have their ticket with them when they pay at the pay-on-foot station. However, there is an option to pay cash inside the airline terminal. This change means that the exit booth will no longer be staffed after June 20th. But don't worry, airport attendants will still be available at the exit plaza for assistance during the transition period.

The new system allows customers to pay prior to exiting the parking lot, providing them with the option to drive up to the gate and get out quickly. The terminal pay stations now accept both credit cards and cash, making it a more convenient option for passengers.

Newly set up in the airport terminal are additional pay stations that enable customers to pay before leaving the terminal area. Furthermore, users can put in their credit card at the entrance and then use the same credit card when exiting, eliminating the need to stop at multiple payment stations.

Airport Executive Director Patrick Dame emphasized the goal of making parking easier for passengers. With the new system, customers can get a ticket upon arrival at one of the parking lots and pay with their credit card when they leave.

The upgraded parking system offers more flexibility in how passengers choose to pay for their parking. The airport aims to make this process seamless and hassle-free for all its visitors.
